Dear Fellow Republican:

We need your help!

Your Beaufort County Republican Party is alive and well.  We have an enthusiastic Executive Committee with optimistic plans for the future of the Republican Party in Beaufort County .   However if these plans are to bear fruit, we must have the help of Republicans like you.  The Republican Party in Beaufort County has made great strides in recent years in voter registration and at the Polls.  We owe a great debt to those who have given sacrificially of time and resources toward this effort. Now, we must build on this past success.

Eastern North Carolina, with Beaufort County in the forefront, is ripe for Republican growth.   With your support, Beaufort County will soon become a majority Republican County .   Beaufort County is a Republican leaning county.  However, the remark is too often made that there is no reason to register Republican because there is no difference in the two major parties.  How untrue!  There is a vast difference in the two major parties.  As a Party, we must educate the voters about these differences. Voters need to know that it is not enough to just vote Republican.  In order to bring about economic growth and improve living conditions in Eastern North Carolina , we must register Republican.  The Democrat Party has had a monopoly on Beaufort County and surrounding counties far too long.  We need a change and we need it NOW!

How do we educate the public?  Basically, we accomplish this goal through grass-root organization.

·         Organize our precincts

·         Conduct voter registration drives

·         Advertise and sponsor political events

·         Organize Party affiliated groups

·         Train poll workers

·         Work with candidates to elect Republicans to office locally, statewide and nationally

·         Promote, as effectively as possible, the strong fiscal and moral policies of the Republican Party.

Now with these plans, as with anything worthwhile, there is a cost.  This cost involves both money and labor.  We are proud of our new headquarters but it's expensive to maintain. Communication through print, websites or advertising is costly.  However, we must communicate.  For these reasons, we are continuing a program which was started four years ago.  This program gives grass-root Republicans an opportunity to help by becoming a Sustaining Member of the Beaufort County Republican Party. Every individual that registers Republican automatically becomes a member of the Republican Party with full voting rights and privileges.  There is no charge!  However, we are asking you to help us with our goals.  For a once a year donation of:

    $35 per person_ Name ______________________________________________

    $50 per couple_ Names______________________________________________

    $75 per family _ Names______________________________________________

    Other              _ Name(s) ____________________________________________

Names will be added to our Sustaining Membership list, posted on the BCRP website and listed in our annual Reagan Day Dinner program.  Please check the correct box and include names.    Of course, larger donations are appreciated.  However, no amount is too small.  All donations will be welcomed.   Sorry, political contributions are not tax deductible.

Checks should be made to the Beaufort County Republican Party and mailed to David Cox, 1243 Little Creek Road Extension, Belhaven, NC 27810 .  To volunteer, to comment or for additional information, please do not hesitate to call.   Remember, for the Republican Party to continue to grow in Beaufort County , we need your help.  Please respond today!

Sincerely,

Larry Britt, Chairman
