Cypress Landing resident Bill Cook announced his candidacy for North Carolina State House District 6 seat at the Beaufort County Republican Men's Club at their Thursday, January 14 meeting. Beaufort County Tea Party

The Beaufort County Tea Party attracted a crowd of over 300 people. Citizens are not happy with their government. The event was nonpartisan. Democrats, Republicans and Independents participated. The event was sponsored by the Beaufort County Republican Men's Club.

Announcements

 

The Al-Pam Republican Club will meet on Thursday February 4, 2010 at 6:30 in the fellowship hall of the Woodland United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Perquimans County. The church is located at 453 Woodland Church Rd. Joseph Coletti with the John Locke Foundation will speak on health care.

 

Republicans of the 3rd District will be meeting February 6, 2010 at The Grange  at 4341 Terrapin Track Road near Washington. All Beaufort County Republicans are welcome and encouraged to attend. Reservations MUST be made by Saturday, January 30.  Please email Hope Van Dorp at hvandorp@gotricounty.com to make reservations. The meal is served buffet and costs $10 plus tip.

The Al-Pam Republican Club, Paul Shumaker, Political Strategist and Campaign Advisor with Capital Communications, along with Garth Regan, Political Director for Senator Richard Burr, is sponsoring and conducting a Campaign Workshop on Saturday, February 13. Click for Details
